Silhouette Vine Card - Stamping Up

I tend to be leaning towards monotones this month so blue was the theme for this card, I picked a delicate shade of blue for the base card and used a stamping wheel for the vines I first used it on the bottom of the base card with versamark ink which leaves a watermark effect, I took a scrap piece of card in the same delicate blue shade and again wheeled across it with the vine stamp but this time I added white embossing powder and heat set it.
I then took a piece of white card stock and used one of the stamps from the pocket Silhouettes and stamped it in brocade blue ink the cut it out with the Nestabilitie label die. Using the Brocade blue ink I sponged around the edges of the label shape.
I then layered it on top of the card and finished by tying a white sheer ribbon and tying a bow.
Ingredients;
Blue card stock from local stockist
Stamps all by Stamping up, watercolour wheel and Pocket silhouettes
Ribbon from local stockist

Mothering Sunday - Floral Punch Craft

Started with the Sakura Flower Punch and punched lots (technical for forgot to count) then sponged colour to the edges of each flower then cut the petals away from each flower and glued them individually to a circle cut from card, started and the large layer and worked the flower to the centre where I fringed the same light pink paper sponged with a darker shade of pink on one edge then rolled it and glued it in place.

This is the card myself and Susan my friend made the other night.

Forever in my Heart - Bereavement Pendant

My Mam is such a very special lady, it is my Birthday towards the end of March and I had just been saying to my family that I was dreading this one as it is my first Birthday without Dad.
You see my Dad always bought me a big Easter egg for my Birthday separate to a present from them both even if Mam had put the presents together the Easter Egg was always from Dad.
Going into the shops and seeing the Easter Eggs this year made me very emotional not for the fact I wasn't getting an Easter Egg but for the fact that my Dad wasn't here to give me it.

So my Mam arrived this morning with this beautiful pendant made with mother of pearl and a Swaroski crystal as part of my Birthday gift given to me early so that I can wear it.
It is a bereavement pendant and on the reverse is engraved with the words;
Gone but not forgotten,
Although we are apart,
Your spirit lives within me,
Forever in my heart.
So I am reduced to tears but I felt I'd like to share this with you all

Damask Card - Thank You

I can't believe just how popular Damask is at the moment, I've even seen Damask themed weddings and my doesn't it make a statement.
I printed the damask pattern directly onto the card base then used a simple black satin ribbon to seperate the two sides of the card.
I used the Nestabilities circle dies and cut out a black scalloped and a white plain circle then stamped using the Simply Stationary set by Papertrey Ink to stamp on the white circle.

Rubber Stamp Tapestry - Yumy's Garden set

I used the Rubber Stamp Tapestry Set Yumy's Garden and the border Stamp Oak Leaves to make this card, I fell in love with the little vase. I kept to blue shades for a porcelain effect.
The little peg stamps are so relaxing to use and I never know what effect I will get when I start but I love watching the picture grow.

February Blog Hop - Spring

The Spring blog hop card.

Strangely enough Spring to me means fields of gold, the farmers fields are covered in rape seed and are so vibrant at this time of year not to mention the blanket of daffodils that are about so my card hopefully resembles what I see around me in that season.
